Hollywood Studios introduces Star Wars: Galaxy Edge

The park that brought you the joyful Toy Story Land now brings you an extraordinary 14-acres of Star Wars paradise. With special themed areas, Star Wars: Galaxy Edge is perfect for big kids (and little) to live out their childhood dreams.

With the first phase Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run opening on the 29 August, explore its two distinct areas - The Black Spire Outpost and the Resistance Forest - as Disney complete their first ever single-themed expansion. Become part of the Star Wars story as you’re transported to the planet of Batuu and get ready to live your Star Wars adventure in a Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Phase two of the ultimate Star Wars paradise sees the introduction of the Resistance Forest Park. Get ready to be dropped into the middle of the ever-climatic battle between the First Order and the Resistance in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Start your new career as part of the Rebel Alliance on The Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Ride by taking control of the fastest ship in the galaxy, choose your destiny, and decide which crucial role you will undertake. Whether you’re the pilot, engineer, or gunner, you will face danger at every corner. Do you have what it takes to steer this unpredictable ship away from danger and succeed in your latest mission?  As you queue to take the helm of the infamous ship make sure to take full advantage of unconventional queuing area and all the interactive activities it has to offer.



Allow yourself to be smuggled into Savi’s workshop and pick up your souvenir from the far corners of the galaxy. Become one with the force and create your very own lightsabre with four different themes to choose from. Bring it to life with the power of Kyber crystals. Your dream of having your own BB-8 or R2-D2 can now become a reality by visiting the droid depot ran by Mubo. The Utai proprietor stocks parts, chips, manuals, and other tech to build your perfect side-kick straight off the conveyor belt. If you don’t want to be hands-on you can also get premade and premium droid model kits as well as accessories. Don’t leave your mechanical best friend behind when you leave as they will communicate and interact with technology around the village to give you a true authentic experience.

Even the best Jedi’s rest, so take a well-earned break from your mission and make a pit stop at Oga’s Cantina. This notorious hangout for bounty hunters, smugglers, and rouge traders a-like, will provide you with an extensive menu of unique mixtures of thirst-quenching refreshments from Oga’s fantastical drinks from Toniray White to Moogan tea replenishing your fuel levels for your next Jedi quest.

Whilst you’re on-the-go make sure you grab a frosty blue or green milk from the milk stand. This quirky kiosk offers travellers the most exhilarating and energising refreshments in the galaxy. This frozen Legendary Batuu drink completes any trip to the Galaxy’s edge.

Fuel up for the final battle at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, this galactic eatery has an array of dishes prepared by Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs. Sit inside the expansive hanger or snatch a table in the rustic outdoor seating area and tuck into the bizarre offerings from Chef Tuggs as he satisfies the appetite of travellers from across the galaxy.

Before you leave the galaxy make sure you pay one last visit to the village. Start your expedition at the Toydarian Toymaker browsing the handcrafted toys and collectables. Explore the mysterious hideaway of Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiques, which treasures from across the galaxy will you unearth?

Keep your young crew members out of mischief on the intergalactic space flight home with cool knick-knacks from Zabaka’s workshop. Encounter peculiar pets and beasts in Bina’s Creature Stall everything from Kowakian monkey-lizards to disorderly pets common within the shadowy underworld figures. Can you escape pet-free?
