All aboard the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway as it chugs through the picturesque scenery to Broadway in the Cotswolds. You'll also walk in the footsteps of the Greatest Briton, Winston Churchill, at Blenheim Palace as you learn more about the wartime leader amidst sumptuous furnishings and architecture. Plus, you'll get to visit Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, where history and romantic architecture combine in glorious style.

Your tour starts with a local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service and travel to the Warwickshire countryside for a four-night stay. Enjoy a welcome drink on arrival to unwind with your fellow travellers. After breakfast the following day; you'll embark the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway - a volunteer-operated heritage railway which operates steam and heritage diesel trains between Cheltenham Racecourse and Broadway. Sit back, relax, and enjoy light refreshments as your journey takes in the views of the Cotswolds' sleepy hamlets, villages, Malvern Hills, and beyond. Free time in Broadway follows, with its honey-coloured period buildings framed by picturesque rolling hills.

Day three brings an excursion to Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick. Stratford-upon-Avon is a pretty riverside town, most famous as the birthplace of Shakespeare; perhaps immerse yourself in the Bard's world by visiting his birthplace, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, or his final resting place at Holy Trinity Church. Stratford also boasts excellent shops and restaurants, pretty timbered buildings, and cruises upon the river. You'll also pay a visit to Warwick, with free time to explore. Maybe visit Warwick Castle, founded by William the Conqueror, or simply stroll through this historic town.

The UNESCO-listed Blenheim Palace is your go-to on day four; set in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside it showcases 300 years of history and is one of England's largest houses with stunning architecture. It's most famous as the birthplace and home of Sir Winston Churchill, England's Prime Minister between 1940-45 and 1951-55; admire the exhibitions dedicated to one of the greatest leaders and the work he did during the war. You'll then return to the hotel for a gala dinner to celebrate your final evening. After breakfast the following morning, you'll check out of the hotel and travel back home.
