Full Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Bali

Your family holiday gets underway upon arrival into Bali International Airport. You will be met at the airport by a guide and transferred to Adiwana Bisma hotel in the heart of Ubud, where you will spend the next two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. After checking into the hotel, you will have time for a short rest before joining your guide for an orientation walk through Ubud. Your guide will show you some of the best local restaurants as you stroll the streets of this small, vibrant town, before heading to Campuhan Ridge to see one of Bali’s best nature spots. This stunning location offers panoramic views of emerald rice paddy fields and untouched agricultural landscapes. Before returning to the hotel, stop at Café Pomegranate to enjoy a beautiful sunset and sweet sangria wine (adults only), followed by dinner.

Day 2: Ubud

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, today you can explore Ubud and the surrounding area at your own pace. Optional excursions are available to book for an additional cost, such as a Chasing Bali Waterfall Full-Day Tour.

Day 3: Ubud – Kintamani

Your guide will pick you up from the hotel today after breakfast and transfer you to Kintamani, in the highlands of Bali. En route you will stop at Toya Bungkah natural hot spring, located in Batur Lake, the largest lake in Bali. Soak in sulphur hot water and take in the impressive mountain views. You’ll then be taken to Tira Vilagna Suites and Spa, where you’ll spend the next two nights on a bed and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 4: Trunyan Village Excursion

After breakfast, you will be picked up for today’s tour to Trunyan Village to see the ancient traditions of this Balinese community. Once you have arrived at Trunyan, explore the village by foot with your local guide. Visit the village’s unique temple, surrounded by mystical Banyan Trees, and take a canoe trip to the sacred cemetery. Lunch is included on this tour and you will be transferred back to your hotel at the end of the day.

Day 5: Kintamani – Canggu

Today, you will continue your journey and leave Kintamani for Canggu, a lively coastal village. On your way you’ll visit the enchanting temples of Tirta Empul and Gunung Kawi. The holy spring water of Tirta Empul is believed to heal and purify, and you will have the opportunity to participate in a unique water purification ceremony. The spring feeds various purification baths, pools, and fishponds surrounding the outer perimeter. With your guide, get into the pool and learn how the Balinese people pray to the Gods and ask for health and wellbeing. This is an incredible experience to share together as a family. The day concludes at the Gunung Kawi temple complex, which is one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites, comprising a collection of ancient shrine reliefs carved into the face of a rock cliff. Upon arrival at Canggu, you’ll check into Plataran Canggu Resort & Spa for a four-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis, then enjoy the evening at leisure.

Days 6-8: Canggu

The rest of your time in Canggu is yours to spend as you wish. Explore the area’s many cool restaurants and cafés, spend time at the beach, or perhaps simply enjoy the facilities at your hotel and spend time together in your spacious Pool Villa. Optional activities are available to book for an additional cost, such as Surf Lessons with Mojo Surf.

Day 9: Canggu – Gili Trawangan

This morning, you will transfer to Gili Trawangan by road and then by a shared speedboat service. Check into Pondok Santi Estate, where you will spend the next five nights on a bed and breakfast basis. In the afternoon, join your guide for a leisurely bike ride to the other side of the island and witness the island life and beautiful surroundings as you explore. Relax on the beach and enjoy the sunset before riding back to hotel.

Day 10: Gili Island Boat Trip

Today, after breakfast, you will head out on a boat trip to explore some of the beautiful bays of the Gili Islands. Enjoy crystal-clear waters that are perfect for swimming and snorkelling or just chill out on board the pontoon while a tasty BBQ lunch is prepared for you. Watch the sun go down then return to your hotel.

Days 11-13: Gili Trawangan

Enjoy three more days at leisure in Gili Trawangan. You could visit one of the famous Gili T swings for a photo op, swim in the refreshing ocean water, or simply play by the pool each day – anything you want.

Day 14: Depart Bali

This morning, your family holiday comes to an end and you will be transferred back to Bali and on to the airport for your flight back to the UK.
