People take holidays to Sousse at all times of year, thanks to Tunisia’s hot summers and mild winters. Summers can be very hot and dry, with temperatures reaching as high as 40°C in July and August, with the sea breeze cooling things off a little. Between June and August, rain is rare and Sousse is treated to up to 12 hours of sunshine per day. Autumn is a great time to visit Sousse, with temperatures hitting the low twenties in October and late teens to low twenties in November. October is the rainiest month in Tunisia, with around six days of precipitation across the whole month. Although winters in Tunisia are not hot, temperatures can still reach the mid teens during the day, although they do dip down to as low as 6°C in the evening. In spring, daytime highs of between 19°C and 23°C make Sousse a good choice for a sunshine holiday.
