Steeped in history and lapped by the Adriatic Sea, Rimini is one of Italy’s most beautiful coastal destinations. The beach stretches for an incredible 20km, with sunbeds and colourful parasols peppered across the sandy shoreline. And with warm weather stretching from May right through to September, the summers are as long as the beach. Don’t miss a visit to the ruined Roman amphitheatre, or an amble round the pretty Medieval quarters. History aside, this is a modern holiday resort, with water sports, nightlife and countless eateries all readily available. A big hit with couples, families, groups and history buffs alike, holidays to Rimini really have got it all.

Things to see & do

Many people choose to spend their holidays to Rimini relaxing on the beach one look at it and its easy to see why. For those who can peel themselves away from their sun loungers, an exciting array of watersports await, including windsurfing, kite surfing and kayaking. On dry land, many holidaymakers flock to the Roman amphitheatre, Tiberius Bridge, Tempio Malatesta and the oldest remaining Roman arch, Arco dAugusto. Rimini is simply brimming with fascinating monuments to its colourful past (this is apparently the place where Julius Caesar decided to carry on marching to Rome.) For fun family days out, try Italy in Miniature, the theme parks or the towns own dolphinarium.

Rimini holidays have plenty to offer in the way of nightlife. Whether youre looking for a late night disco, a bar on the beach or an upscale cocktail lounge, youll find the perfect place to suit you here. Theres even a nightclub on stilts over the water...
