Room facilities

The hotel has a total of 91 guest rooms, consisting of twin rooms, suite and deluxe self catering apartments. All rooms have air conditioning, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, safe to rent, satellite TV, radio alarm clock, in room DVD facilities, international direct dial telephone, smoke detector, maid service and balcony or terrace.

Food, drink & entertainment

The main Bonaventura restaurant is open daily for buffet breakfasts and themed dinner buffets. The Da Ciccio Cucina specializes in homemade pizza, pizzoti, grilled specials and fresh fish. A summer treat is the open air La Valle Al Fresco Trattoria, which serves up a mouth watering selection of pizzas, drinks, cocktails, ice creams and fresh fruit in a terrace setting. The Cave Bar offers a well stocked bar and is the venue for live entertainment during the summer months. Light snacks, cocktails, herbal teas and speciality coffees are on the menu in the Bonaventura Bar, along with the screening of all major sporting events.

it was nice enough place, made better by (mostly) good staff, however we tried to pay for a late check-out several times to be told, we had to check with them on the morning of our departure. late check out was not available so this meant quite a wasted day having packed our possessions and having no private place to shower or get dressed/changed, prior to us leaving the hotel at 6pm. daily cold showers due to the water system not being able to cope with the demand for water.

Very disappointed that there was no gym. This is one of the reasons I booked this hotel. Had I been told beforehand at least I would have had a choice. Ther were other niggling things but nothing major. I will be writing to Hayes in more detail.

Refused first room - almost dark even with lights on. Filthy net curtains that looked as if they had never been washed. Paid to upgrade to apartment. The bedcover was dirty and stained - got it replaced next day. Kettle had faulty switch, sheets had holes/tears (but clean), balcony door lock faulty, partner nearly got locked in bathroom - key lock completely faulty. Persuaded to buy food vouchers - deal is a rip off, wine is not "free" because if you go in off the street you pay less than they claim for the set meal. The restaurants La Tasca and La Ciccina were very good, but the food provided as a buffet was like school dinners - and absolutely no atmosphere in the restaurant.
The staff appeared to be nice, but often expected to do about 3 jobs at once. You had to book to use the sauna and the swimming pool smelt so bad of chlorine I decided not to use it. However, the spa treatments were excellent and the staff there were professional. Would not stay here again.

Hotel was fine and staff good .But our room was dark there was a joining door ,to a apartment . Which we could hear every word , from that room . Sheet were too small and had 4 holes in . We asked for a early morning call . BUT NEVER GOT IT .
