Holidays in Mykonos mean whitewashed houses, gorgeous beaches and bright blue seas - a real island paradise! In fact, the island's two busiest beaches are known as Paradise and Super Paradise. These hip spots are popular with backpackers and fashionistas alike, who flock to the day and night time beach parties. But it's not all wall-to-wall revellers on a Mykonos holiday; dig a little deeper you'll discover quaint coves and traditional tavernas, especially in the Elia area. For sophisticated nightlife and a great choice of places to eat out, head to the cobbled streets of Mykonos Town. With its celebrity visitors, scenic countryside, luxury villas and big name DJs, Mykonos has been called the Ibiza of Greece. Just like Ibiza, the island has plenty to offer couples and families who stay in the quieter resorts away from the main hub. What's more, flights to Mykonos take less than four hours from most UK airports, so a party or chill-out holiday in Mykonos is never too far away.
