For the past two years we have supported the Middlesbrough Fostering Association. This year we are helping them by providing the funds for their annual Halloween party venue and we have booked a local face painter for the event.
The Middlesbrough Fostering Association is solely run on donations and helps raise funds to be put towards days out and occasion parties for their looked after children. Without this crucial funding, the foster carers wouldn't be able to hold parties and day trips for the children.
We have also signed up to do the Teesside Hospice Colour run in September 2017. A number of the girls in branch are signed up and we are raising money for their cause; you can find our Just Giving page link on our Facebook page.
Teesside Hospice is a local charity which helps enhance the quality of life for those suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. They provide a range of services for patients, families and carers, and help over 3,000 people in the Teesside area each year.
Within branch we act as a food donation stop to support Middlesbrough Food Bank. They have been supported in Middlesbrough for four years now and provide emergency food to people in crisis through their local food banks.
Supporting our local schools is also very important to us and this year we have sponsored prizes for awards ceremonies at Trinity Catholic College School. They regularly hold award ceremonies to celebrate their students’ achievements.
