Things To Do
Sailing, water skiing, jet skiing and scuba diving are among the many activities provided for the more energetic holiday maker. Twenty kilometres from Bourgas city, on a rocky peninsula, is the resort of Pomorie. This area is very popular with those wishing to go sailing. The charming old village of Nessebur with its narrow, cobbled streets leading into the smallest of squares attracts many visitors. The medieval churches are remarkable with their ornate facades, while floral gardens provide an abundance of colour and glorious scents. Bourgas has its share of Bulgaria's many thermal springs where spa treatments can be enjoyed.
