On Rhodes, great wine and freshly cooked Greek cuisine are best enjoyed al fresco in one of the island's traditional tavernas. In The Evening
Nightlife on Rhodes varies, depending on the resort you choose to stay in. Faliraki is made up of two main strips, nicknamed Bar Street and Club Street, which pretty much sums up the nightlife of this legendary resort. After a brief spell of sleepiness, it's back firmly on the clubbing map, with 2010's beach parties apparently some of Europe's best.
Like most of Rhodes' main resorts, Lindos gets busy in summer, with a mix of tavernas, karaoke bars and hilltop chill-outs. For a sophisticated night out, Rhodes Town’s old quarter is packed with classy restaurants, bouzouki clubs and trendy bars, not to mention a casino. The new part of Rhodes Town has somewhere in the region of 600 discos and bars, generally centred around Top Street and the Street of Bars. Many hotels lay on in-house entertainment whilst in quieter resorts, sitting on the balcony and enjoying a glass of wine is the order of the day (or night.)
