The beach is the centre of life during the daytime in Costa Caleta. Head to the watersports centre on the beach to go diving, hire jet skis or learn to windsurf. Children’s activities available include mini-golf, tennis courts, trampolines, pool tables and volleyball. There’s a Championship Golf Course for the golfers. Hire a car and take a day trip around the island. Boat trips leave the Costa Caleta harbour on most days, if you’re lucky you may get to see some dolphins, whales and turtles. The Atlantico Centre has a good selection of shops and cafes and also a multi-screen cinema and a 10 pin bowling alley.
Food & Drink
Costa Caleta has a wide range of restaurants serving Chinese, Indian, Thai, Greek, Mexican, Portuguese, Italian, English and of course authentic Spanish cuisine. Steaks, fresh seafood and fish are also very popular. Enjoy a glass or two of sangria with your meal or a cooling beer.
In The Evening
Nightlife in Costa Caleta is quite laid-back and centres around the bars and pubs with entertainment, sports screens and karaoke available. For the youngsters, there’s a couple of late-disco bars to enjoy. Catch a film or go for a ‘strike’ in the bowling alley at the Atlantico Cente.

The weather in Fuerteventura is unlike any of the other Canary Islands. Fuerteventura and its neighbouring islands have been called 'the islands of eternal spring' because of their pleasant year-round weather, with temperatures sitting around the mid twenties. There is still a distinction between the 'summer' and 'winter' months, but the island very rarely experiences any extremes of temperature.
