Things To Do

Holidays in Albufeira understandably revolve around the great beaches and there's an impressive menu of water sports on offer. Try fishing, diving and boat trips. Great family days out include two water parks and the Zoomarine animal park on the outskirts of town. The surrounding countryside begs to be discovered by 4X4, hire car, on foot or horse back. The Algarve boasts a huge concentration of golf courses, with around 12 within easy reach of Albufeira. Shop in the Old Town for crafts, clothes and jewellery.

Food & Drink

Albufeira started life as a fishing village and there are still plenty of seafood restaurants in the resort. You'll also find a huge choice of international resturants, cafes and fast food joints.

In The Evening

Live music, dancing, karaoke, cocktails - the vibrant nightlife of Albufeira has it all. But it's by no means a clubbing resort, there are smaller, quieter bars and Albufeira attracts a good mix of families and couples as well as groups of friends. Just out of town, towards Vilamoura, the huge Kadoc nightclub hosts late night parties and big name DJs.
