Shark's Bay

Things To Do

The beach is the centre of daytime life in Shark’s Bay, whether it’s relaxing in the sunshine or enjoying the many watersports on offer. Diving and snorkelling are particularly popular with an abundance of dive schools available offering trips out to explore the many wrecks and dive sites off shore. For golfers there’s the Jolie Ville Golf Resort in nearby Sharm el Sheikh to enjoy. Go ice skating or bowling at the Soho Square complex.

Food & Drink

Dining out in Shark’s Bay includes international restaurants as well local Egyptian eateries. The Soho Square complex has a selection of cuisines to try including Cantonese, Indian and Thai options. Local dishes are heavily influenced by Turkish, Greek, French and Lebanese culture and include falafels, shish kebab and kofta. Egypt is a Muslim country but you will still find alcohol served in the hotels. Tea is served in glasses and comes dark and impossibly sweet; the same is true with coffee, which is taken in the Turkish style.

In The Evening

Nightlife in Shark’s Bay is quite low-key with a few pubs and bars to choose from. The Soho Square complex has an English pub and a selection of bars to enjoy as well as an ice rink and bowling centre. Nearby Na'ama Bay's streets are lined with a great choice of bars and clubs, including a Hard Rock Café and a Pacha, making it a popular choice with young and lively visitors.
