Sani Resort

The quiet resort of Sani is situated on the west coast of Halkidiki’s Kassandra peninsula in Greece. Surrounded by woodland and countryside, the seven kilometres of soft sandy beach slope very gently into the clear blue water of the Aegean Sea – ideal for those lazy days on a sunlounger. The area around the Sani Marina has a small number of restaurants, bars and chic boutiques. For those looking to experience the surrounding area local buses are available into nearby Nea Moudania, where you’ll find the Petralona Caves with their stalactite and stalagmite formations. Sani is the perfect destination to unwind and enjoy a relaxing holiday with family or friends in the hot Greek sunshine.

Things To Do
Holidays in Sani are all about relaxation with days spent on the long sandy beach. The hotels provide water sport activities and these include diving. The countryside around the resort is just begging to be explored on foot. The Petralone Caves in nearby Nea Moudania are well worth a visit. If you fancy a bit of retail therapy then head to shops on the Sani Marina or take a day trip to Thessaloniki to explore top designer boutiques.
Food & Drink
Dining out options are limited in Sani but most of the hotels have restaurants serving international food choices. There is a small selection of bars and restaurants by the Sani Marina. If you want to venture further afield for an evening, the nearest village is Nea Fokea, 3.7 kilometres away, where you’ll find some good traditional tavernas. Enjoy mezze and the Greek favourites of mousakka or calamari with baklava for dessert. Aniseed-flavoured Ouzo is the preferred aperitif and the robustly flavoured Retsina wine is the popular accompaniment to any meal.
In The Evening
Sani is a beach resort consisting of mainly hotel complexes; therefore nightlife is very low key. Entertainment is provided by the hotels with live performances and traditional Greek evenings. There are a few bars and restaurants to enjoy on the Sani Marina.
