Playa del Ingles
Holidays in Playa del Ingles revolve around the beach and the legendary nightlife. The resort name translates literally to ‘Englishman’s Beach,’ - not surprising, given the crowds of British visitors it pulls in every year. Situated on the South coast of Gran Canaria, Playa del Ingles basks in year-round sunshine, but really comes to life in the summer months.
Revellers party until dawn in pubs, clubs and dedicated entertainment centres. Playa del Ingles is lively all year round, but it's slightly calmer from November to April, when couples, families and single travellers check-in for a dose of winter sun.
