Ibiza

Ibiza, also know as the The White Isle, is world-famous for its parties and nightclubs, but away from lively San Antonio, Ibiza has plenty to offer those seeking a quieter holiday. Inland you will find pleasant farmland, almond and fruit orchards and quiet villages to explore. Most holidays in Ibiza are centred around the clear blue seas lined with beautiful Mediterranean beaches - there are over 60 to choose from – including lively Figueretes and Playa Den Bossa and the more peaceful stretches at Es Cana and Santa Eulalia. Add in Ibiza's warm climate and activities galore both on land and sea and it's easy to see why the island is a great summer holiday destination for holidaymakers of all ages – and it's only around two hours away from the UK.

Things To Do
Ibiza's beaches are home to a wealth of watersports, from snorkelling to jet skiing and banana boat rides. Boat trips are a great way to spend the day exploring the turquoise waters and pretty coves along the island's coast. Active travellers can take advantage of Ibiza's hilly interior, a perfect landscape for hiking, horse riding and biking. The island capital, Ibiza town is home to a picturesque old quarter, with a striking 13th-century cathedral and numerous street cafés. Es Cana is home to a popular weekly market and Santa Eulalia boasts a smart harbour. Other attractions on Ibiza include water parks, wine tasting and golf.
Food & Drink
In traditional Ibizan restaurants, enjoy locally produced wine and sangria, delicious freshly-caught seafood and just-harvested olives. In larger resorts like San Antonio, you'll find a huge choice of outlets serving up everything from Chinese and Italian to British and fast food. For great value-for-money, choose an all-inclusive hotel where food and drink's all thrown in.
In The Evening
As well as the nightclubs it's known for, Ibiza offers a nightlife style to suit every kind of holidaymaker. Revellers head to San Antonio for world-famous Djs, superclubs and legendary parties. In nearby San Antonio Bay, there are still lots of bars but it's slightly less chaotic.

Ibiza Town is the island capital and also has thriving nightlife, with plenty of bars and late night venues to choose from. Families can enjoy hotel-based child-friendly entertainment or head out into quieter resorts like Santa Eulalia or Es Cana.
