Ibiza

Ibiza, in the heart of the Balearics, is also know as the The White Isle and is world-famous for its parties and nightclubs. But away from lively San Antonio, holidays on Ibiza have plenty to offer those seeking a quieter and relaxing getaway. Inland you will find pleasant farmland, almond and fruit orchards and quiet villages to explore. Daytimes on an Ibiza holiday understandably centre around the beautiful beaches along the island's coastline - there are over 60 to choose from after all! - including lively Figueretes and Playa Den Bossa and the more peaceful stretches at Es Cana and Santa Eulalia. Add in a wide choice of hotels and apartments, a warm climate and activities galore, both on land and sea, and it's easy to see why the Balearic island of Ibiza is a great choice. Flights to Ibiza take less than two and a half hours away from most UK airports - so a holiday on Ibiza is within easy reach too!

Things To Do
Ibiza's beaches are home to a wealth of watersports, from snorkelling to jet skiing and banana boat rides. Boat trips are a great way to spend the day exploring the turquoise waters and pretty coves along the island's coast. Active travellers can take advantage of Ibiza's hilly interior, a perfect landscape for hiking, horse riding and biking. The island capital, Ibiza town is home to a picturesque old quarter, with a striking 13th-century cathedral and numerous street cafés. Es Cana is home to a popular weekly market and Santa Eulalia boasts a smart harbour. Other attractions on Ibiza include water parks, wine tasting and golf. With so much to do on a holiday in Ibiza, you'll be spoilt for choice where to start!
Food & Drink
In traditional Ibizan restaurants, enjoy locally produced wine and sangria, delicious freshly-caught seafood and just-harvested olives. In larger resorts like San Antonio, you'll find a huge choice of outlets serving up everything from Chinese and Italian to British and fast food. For great value-for-money, choose an all-inclusive hotel where food and drink's all thrown in.
In The Evening
As well as the nightclubs it's known for, Ibiza offers a nightlife style to suit every kind of holidaymaker. Revellers head to San Antonio for world-famous DJs, superclubs and legendary parties. In nearby San Antonio Bay, there are still lots of bars but it's slightly less chaotic. Ibiza Town is the island capital and also has thriving nightlife, with plenty of bars and late night venues to choose from. Families can enjoy hotel-based child-friendly entertainment or head out into quieter resorts like Santa Eulalia or Es Cana.
