Things To Do
Dubai is famous for its signature white sandy beaches, but there's plenty to do on a holiday in Dubai besides sunbathing. Visit Dubai Museum and the Jumeirah mosque and take the lift to the top of Burj Khalifa. For family days out, the Wild Wadi water park is home to a huge choice of roller coasters, chutes and flumes. Don’t miss the spectacular attractions at Atlantis The Palm: including the chance to swim with dolphins and explore underwater chambers teeming with fish. And Dubai might be located in the middle of a desert, but that doesn't mean you can't ski here: head to the Ski Dubai complex for ski slopes and real snow. For a more traditional Arabian experience, don't miss an excursion to the desert, or a haggling trip to the Gold and Spice Souks.
Food & Drink
Dubai offers food to suit every palate and budget. Dine in the Michelin-starred restaurants in the city’s top hotels and enjoy great international cuisine from Japan, India and Italy. As well as the gourmet outlets, you'll find plenty of fast food joints. Don't miss the chance to try out the local, spicy cuisine.
In The Evening
Dubai's fast-growing status has created an ecelectic nightlife scene. There are hundreds of bars and nightclubs, many of which attract many top name DJs and musicians. From quiet little cafés to famous clubs, such as Buddha Bar, Dubai has all the nightlife benefits of Western capitals. Please keep in mind that alcohol consumption is allowed only in bars and on other designated premises, drinking on the street or in other public places is strictly prohibited. For a change of scenery enjoy an evening’s dinner cruise around the harbour in a dhow.
Health & Entry Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the correct travel insurance and vaccinations and / or special medication for your destination. Please consult your GP for advice at least one month ahead of travel. It is essential that you meet the visa and passport requirements for your chosen destination. Visit the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (http://www.fco.gov.uk) website for up to date entry requirements listed by country.
