Rosamar hotel benidorm.

I would like to complain about the level of service offered as an all inclusive guest.  On arrival we were given the blue band to say we were all inclusive however no explanation was given to say that we could only use certain bars, fridges and times of snacks.  We feel we were treated as second rate customers as the only bar (I use this term loosely ) we could use was a wooden shed beside the pool.  We were turned away from the bar within the hotel unless we wanted to pay for drinks etc.  The shed was a self service bar for soft drink which was fine but only had one larger pump for alot of guests.  The shed was manned by a single waiter for alcoholic drinks but these were very few and when the waiter disappeared the line for drinks was very long with lots of people complaining. As all inclusive guests we were given plastic glasses to drink out of which I wouldn't have minded but the people paying for drinks were given glass, I feel this suggests as an all inclusive guest we would be careless etc.
The dinning room was also caotic as the staff rearly cleaned the tables.  As this was a buffet we had more than one plate and the staff never came to remove empty plates or bottles from the table.  When entering the dinning room on more than a few occasions it was quite empty but no clean tables to sit we had to ask to have a table cleaned because if we had just waited this would not have been done.
We also hired mini golf on site the bar staff served us willingly taking our money, once at mini golf we found it was difficult to see properly my husband asked for the outside lights to be put on. There reply was to say they didn't have any however the lights were situated between sections of the mini golf course.  They then went on to tell my husband golf was a day time activity so why did they serve us?  The atitude of the staff was terrible.
And then finally on the last day the water was off due to work being carried out on the roof. We were trying to get ready to leave for our transfer at this point.

After arriving early hours of the morning to be told there was no room ready for us and we were to be but in another hotel I wasn't impressed. To then try to book in the day after once again we were told we would have to wait for our r

Mr Dixon, 11 February 2015

The rooms are basic, two chairs ,bedside tables, television, this has BBC and Sky news plus about 4 or 5 British Channels, enough to bring you up to date what is going on in the world and the usual soaps, not a viewer.
The ensuite bathroom is well catered for and will change towels every day plus stock up with soap bath and shower gel etc, no hairdryer but norm to take your own, and very good bath with shower, abundant of really hot water, shower will blow you away.
The rooms are kept spotless every day, and I felt leaving mobile phone and camera about very safe.
The meals were very satisfactory, and could not complain, as catering for clients, you can not be an easy challenge, but all buffet meals from morning until evening were sound.
The staff were very good, and reception could answer all questions from distances to bus transport and guide on fares.
Bar staff as well as the staff in restaurant, very courteous and if dishes running low, kept topped up.
As it was our third visit to the hotel, I would not return unless satisfied, not 5 star, but quite satisfied.
The only one point that upset some on holiday from UK, was that the hotel caters for the Local People, on weekend breaks etc, and can be very noisy, but that is there culture, worked in parts of Spain, hence accept it, as the norm, and they take over sections of the leisure area, to play there cards and dominoes, OAP I would think, so why not.
All in all my wife and I enjoyed the week break, managed about 25 hours walking, good.
The Thompson Rep was quite good, new the area and bus routes also provided us with a timetable and advised on where bus starts etc.
He also saved us money on the Wi Fi, at reception, in the past I purchased so many days Wi Fi, but advised to buy a drink tea coffee etc at the bar, on the receipt, it gave you a Wi Fi connection code, as long as you were in the bar/reception area, you got a connection, full marks to him, might have a problem with the hotel if they were aware of his advice, as they were losing money.
Good holiday and will most likely return, already stayed at the Castilla, Benidorm Plaza, and The Rosamar, the later comes first for friendly followed by the Castilla.
