bedroom small but clean, only 1 lift working only held 4 slim people dinning room compact but we never had to wait for a seat. staff very helpfull

Mrs Johnson, 07 May 2017

It's definitely a dated hotel, facilities were very basic, nice pool and outside area but interior needs some significant updating. Rooms were clean. Great location for the beach. 20 minutes from Faro airport.

Miss Smith, 31 August 2016

Would never go to this hotel again

Mr Read, 20 August 2016

Nice hotel, food good but due to size of hotel, not a large choice. The all inclusive was a tad misleading tho, after 10pm we had to pay for drinks and ice creams had to be paid for separately. This wasnt a problem as such but Hays brochure said ALL inclusive not nearly all. Little gripes aside, would go back.

Mrs Henderson, 26 May 2016

When we arrived we were put into a 'cupboard' on the tenth floor with no balcony in spite of the fact that we have booked and paid for a balcony or terrace. It took me over half an hour to argue with the receptionist that we could not stay in this room. We were finally given a room next door with a balcony (after she said there were none available and the hotel was fully booked). This again was only approx 10' 4" by 9' 6" and was again on the tenth floor. She was going to have us bring our luggage back down to go up again after re-registration!! This was crazy as my husband is disabled through ill health. I had to insist that he stay up there and I would re-register. There were more arguments which completely spoiled the holiday from the beginning. The breakfast was very poor (in our opinion). The layout of the eating room was rather like a poor canteen. The hotel areas were clean and looked after but I am afraid I would never stay at this hotel again. The views we gathered from some of the residents were that it was 'going downhill'.

Mr Welsh, 20 May 2016

Staff very rude and unhelpful all inclusive was a joke drink measures very small no snacks in the day.By the time you have dinner there is very little time for a drink as AI finished at ten PM.

Mr Lilley, 14 May 2016

Hotel very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. All inclusive option is a disgrace, very limited food options and drinks service and availability terrible

Mrs Morrison, 05 June 2014

The Hotel itself was good, the room we had was brilliant, the seating downstairs was O.K., but the catering left much to be desired. We have always taken some items to the Hotels we have used, so this time we took some food into the restaurant on the first morning, only to be told that was not allowed. My Husband pointed out that we were saving the Hotel money, but that did not matter, we still were not permitted to use the items we wanted. Also there seemed to be a lack of condiments and cutlery for the number of people in the restaurant at any one time, so we were constantly seeking supplies. Only small things I guess but annoying ones. We loved the area of Quateira and the surrounding countryside, so we would go there again if we were to travel abroad, but not to the Atismar, sorry. With apologies for the lateness of this communication, yours etc., Joan and Tony Morrison.

Having stayed at this hotel many times for sleeping and showering purposes can't find fault. Daily maid service
