In 2015, we decided to raise money for the Dream-A-Way Foundation. This is a charity that provides grants for people with physical and learning difficulties in Devon and Cornwall, so they can take a well-deserved holiday or day trip.
Our apprentice, Rebecca, had the idea to make a sponsored parachute jump to raise money. She had never flown before so this was a major decision for her! We supported her efforts by holding a raffle with a variety of prizes on offer, as well as a cake sale where everyone baked sweet treats. We also collected unwanted foreign exchange in our bureau to add to the total amount. Overall, we raised over £400 for the Dream-A-Way Foundation!
