Hays rated this hotel as a 5 star when in actual fact it is known by the locals to be a 3 star.
Electricity went off at least 3 times per day sometimes as long as two hours, no glasses available for drinks at the beach bar, we were told several times it would take 5 mins but after half hour i gave up and went to pool bar.
Food was very limited and of poor quality, drinks were very limited due to the fact they kept running out, at times no beer and no fizzy drinks available.
On the positive note staff were friendly and helped when they could.
It is evident that the hotel is under some updating as workmen were drilling and cutting pavement slabs around the hotel, electic cables were left on paths, u even surfaces.
I normally stay at the kiroseiz parkland and for £90 more i wish i had paid it as kiroseiz is like the ritz compared to the hauza
Unfortunately a lot of guests were complaining but staff just apologised
So felt little was being done
I spoke with the rep from egypt travel and he said he also had co cerns with the hotel and that was all that was said.
In future I will stick with what I know best
