Food is good. A good choice

Mr Lamplugh, 06 February 2017

Noisy room this year. Wifi access poor

Mrs Clark, 18 January 2017

lovely hotel, good food and service

Mr Wheatley, 30 November 2016

Lovely hotel, good food and wonderful hotel staff make for a brilliant holiday venue.

Mrs Martin, 29 November 2016

Hotel excellent, room spacious, bed a bit hard, but that is being a bit critical. Food excellent, plenty of choice and entertainment good selection from shows to different artist playing in the piano bar, set in a lovely location. Staff very friendly - a well maintained hotel. Would go back again.

Mr O'garr, 14 November 2016

Our only comment was that in our opinion the room whilst very nice and spacious is in need of a little TLC. That was particularly true of our bathroom. Otherwise the hotel and the meals provided lived up to expectations. All of the staff are exemplary.

Mr Brown, 25 October 2016

Excellent hotel, lovely location.
Our only concern was concerning the taxi transfer - the taxi that met us at the airport and took us to the hotel, we felt, was not road-worthy, the prop shaft was very noisy banging at each gear change, the gages on the front panel within the car did not work, the window winder handle in the rear was missing and the taxi was generally grubby. Having said that, everything else was wonderful.

Mr Dobbins, 26 September 2016

Sea View provided BUT at the back of the hotel overlooking the roof of the rooms with sea view and pool view. Room its self very good and balcony large but view
not so good

Mrs Jones, 19 September 2016

The staff were all really friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and varied for all tastes. The outdoor entertainer was extremely loud and very tacky at times in the day it was so loud and the noise extended throughout the whole hotel grounds meaning that one could not have a sleep while he was shouting down the microphone to the few people who actually wanted to be involved in beer drinking championships etc and really let down the standard of 4 star hotel at which almost everybody else was not interested at all.

Mrs Glendinning, 30 April 2016

Always a warm welcome back to this excellent hotel

Mr Cox, 15 April 2016

Wish to go back again

Mr Bond, 20 March 2016

lovely hotel with many facilities and good evening entertainment. Main course veggie options not great. ok if you ate fish but one of us does not.

Mrs Fulford, 04 March 2016

Only thing we thought was poor was seating areas, the piano bar was quite small and seats very low backed, very uncomfortable. No large enough tables for playing cards. Use of disco ball in evening entertainment meant I could not watch it.

Mr Handscombe, 22 February 2016

Room was large and well looked after. The food for the numbers they cater for is ok but by the end of the week we were looking forward to some home cooking and variation .

Mrs Wilkinson, 20 February 2016

Lovely hotel, food and staff very good. In a very windy position.

Mrs Kenny, 01 February 2016

Don't really need two large beds for two people!

Mrs Boagey, 29 January 2016

Hotel was lovely all the staff were friendly and the food and drink was excellent.

Mrs Fenwick, 11 December 2015

Very well laid out hotel all staff from the cleaners & the ground staff up to the hotel deputy manager were excellent they couldn't do enough for you at all times

Mr Wheatley, 01 December 2015

The perfect hotel for us in terms of position and accommodation.

Mrs Penrose, 24 November 2015

brilliant hotel, fab place.

Mr Boyd-smith, 07 September 2015

Splendid, good food, nice hotel, nice people.

Mrs Batty, 09 March 2015

We stayed at Timanfaya Palace last year and were keen to return. Fab hotel with good rooms, great facilities, super catering and we think the best location in Playa Blanca. Quiet and child free and just perfecting for a really relaxing break.

Mr Trussell, 03 March 2015

This hotel was recommended to us by Debbie at Bath Travel Sidmouth. It was a great choice and we had a fantastic break. Hotel was comfortable and well-modernized, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely excellent. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a couples break away - we will definitely be back !

Mrs French, 09 February 2015

The weather was very poor, little sunshine which was very unusual. However the hotel with its activities and entertainment was pretty good and being able to socialise made the holiday. The warm covered outside small swimming pool was an essential element as their outside pool and the sea was as usual very cold. Although I know the hotel very well you should always tell clients it is a cash free hotel, you pay your bill for refreshments at the end, and that a garden view is to be avoided, sea views only. One or two slight issues in the room with evening lighting and assistance in the bath/shower area if you are slightly disabled in any way. We were generally very satisfied as we would recommend the venue and intend to return if possible.
Yours Steve French

Mr Michie, 09 February 2015

Excellent

Mr Moore, 02 February 2015

As Above

Mr Shepherd, 19 January 2015

We chose it as it is a couples hotel. It is a little outside main resort but no problem. Food good, staff excellent, rooms bit noisy from rooms above and corridors. Good facilities, clean. WiFi poor tho.

Mr Haslam, 12 January 2015

the food was good but could be hotter

Mr Goddard, 14 November 2014

Excellent

Mr Bage, 09 November 2014

The food at the hotel is fantastic, restaurant staff are extremely efficient and hard working. Evening entertainment really good. I wouldn't recommend the garden view rooms, if you are unlucky enough to be given the floor zero, as we were on arrival, you don't have any view at all. There was a heavy storm on our second day and the rooms on floor zero flooded however we had already been told we were being moved to another room in the hotel which was a pool view and much nicer. Overall a brilliant stay would definitely return.
