La Tahona Garden, is a complex of apartments, located in Caleta de Fuste, in the east of the Island of Fuerteventura, about seven kilometres from the airport and 600 metres from El Castillo Beach. It is well situated in a very quite zone, where you will find the best place for your holidays.

Accommodation

The complex has 110 apartments, 102 of the apartments have; one twin - bedded room and eight have two twin bedded rooms. (Connecting apartments are also available upon request). Built on two levels. The bungalows located in the inner part of the complex have an excellent situation with the best view to the swimming pool, the bungalows which border the complex overlook the environs and the gardens. The apartments are equipped with a telephone with wake - up service, satellite TV, safe - deposit box to rent, furnished terrace, bathroom, sitting/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen with two cooking rings and refrigerator.

Food & Beverage

Buffet restaurant with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy every sort of drink in the Salon bar situated next to the restaurant. Assorted snacks are available from the Pool bar. The local gastronomy, which is the result of influences of the different cultures present on the inland, are made of locally grown products, fresh meat and fish. Very tasty goat cheese, goat meat and good fresh fish enjoyed on the sunny and calm terraces of Caleta de Fuste.

All Inclusive Food & Drinks

The AI programme consists of breakfast (08:00 - 10:00), lunch (13:00 - 15:00) and dinner (18:00 - 21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals water, juices, refreshments (pepsi, Schweppes, seven up), wine, sangria, soft & alcoholic drinks and cocktails are offered (at the bar). Tea time is between 15:00 & 16:00 at the pool bar. Kids can have ice cream. Locally produced alcoholic & non - alcoholic drinks are served at the pool bar (11:00 - 17:30) and the restaurant (18:00 - 23:00).

Sports & Leisure

Two swimming pools for adults, (one with a separated area for children and the other heated during the winter) surrounded by complimentary sun beds and parasols and attractive spacious gardens. Guests can also enjoy the solarium, ping - pong and billiards. The entertainment opportunities that Caleta de Fuste (Antigua) offers are not only limited to the coast, the beaches and the sea. Since 2002, the great protagonist of the local sport is golf, at only five minutes driving distance from the La Tahona apartments. At about 600 metres you will find a full range of sport facilities near the shore: a huge minigolf, diving and surfing centres & schools, boat excursions and the spa centre “Marine Thalaventura.” Of course you can also simply take a walk by the pleasant avenue all along the coast.

Please note that some of the apartments are being internally refurbished. Works take place in small stages, in order to keep disturbance at a minimum. Where possible, guests will be allocated far from the work area. Works are expected to be completed by 31/08/2008.
