Ibiza town is the capital of the island Ibiza also known as Eivissa. It is situated on the south east side of Ibiza by the sea on a hill. Ibiza offers amazing nightlife, restaurants, cafes and shopping. There is also a variety of markets near by which sell a great range of goods such as arts and crafts products. Ibiza Town really is the most fascinating part of the island, day or night. Here you will see a concentration of all the attractions which have made Ibiza world famous.

You can stroll through the winding lanes of the Port area, soaking up the vibrant, atmosphere of Ibiza by night; wander up through the cobbled streets of the Old Town to admire the stunning views across the bay; browse through the many and varied stalls and designer shops; dine in one of the many restaurants, for a moment of blissful calm amidst the action; you can even catch a ferry to Formentera or the neighbouring beaches!

No matter what your age, nationality, interest or sex, the fairytale architecture of Dalt Vila, Europe's most ancient fortress city, perched high on the summit, will captivate you. The spell binding history and romance of Dalt Vila are evident in its narrow streets, whose very cobblestones have been polished smooth by the feet of centuries.Just outside the citadel walls, on the Port side, is Sa Peña. A construction of ancient, terraced, Arab style buildings with spindly iron balconies overhanging the thin, winding streets with secret alleys and steep, cobbled passageways. They are home to many tiny boutiques, bars and eateries, most of which are concentrated into the two streets nearest the Port, Calle de la Virgen and Calle Mayor.

Beaches
Most people that travel to Ibiza love to spend time at the beaches, Playa de talamanca is one of the best beaches and can be accessed in less than a 20 minute walk.

Nightlife
Ibiza’s nightlife is very entertaining; the many near by clubs attract crowds of people, privilege is one of the best and most popular night clubs around, where you can dance until you drop. Although the clubs in Ibiza are very good entertainment they can be a little expensive so you will need to remember your money.

Activities/Points of interest
Not far outside Ibiza town, there are many sporting activities to take part in such as the great water parks. You can also get involved in things such as horse riding, mountain bike riding and much more. Ibiza has many sites and museums that you could visit such as ancient castles.

The food in Ibiza is very good, you can get your typical Spanish food such as paella, and there are also other Mediterranean dishes available and many other fast food restaurants.
