The rooms need refurbishment, the plaster@paint was dropping of the walls.
the airconditioning fan worked on one speed, slow, the room was very stuffy at times.
The food was adequete, the staff were helpful at times. They need to do something with the bar the wines and other drinks were served warm, hence I
went out to different places, the rest of the holiday was fantastic, visiting all around Malta@Gozo on tour bus or service bus.

Mr Macdonald, 18 July 2014

This hotel is rated 3 Star... I would put it at 2 Star. My room was a single - it should have been a twin standard, the stone tiled floor was dirty and appeared to be never swept, the room could have done with a makeover, the ceiling coving was falling down in one corner, the room just was shabby. The bed... a single mattress on a wooden base - at least it didn't creak! - was ok ish. Ceiling fan worked. Kettle and cup/saucer/teaspoon hire was extra per day.
The bathroom... again shabby, shower worked well, not always hot water (sometimes it 'gets turned off accidentally'), the toilet was stained in the pan, the cistern took well over three hours to fill, the shower curtain was plastic and too large plus it was missing 6 or so curtain hooks.
The dining room ...guests help themselves to the hot dishes from 4 or 5 large lidded trays over gas rings, chicken legs were most common but all food was over cooked and lacked any imagination. Tha salad bar was the same thing every day - always boiled eggs, no ham, cheese, pilchards, tuna, cold chicken etc. Breakfast was the same every day, overcooked rind on bacon, overcooked chipolata sausages, 'fried tomatoes', baked beans and fried eggs... well... they look like a cross between poacreid or frieoache eggs. The continental side was same every day except when they ran out of ham and cheese. There was one cereal that resembled corn flakes but I would not like even guess what it was - when the dispenser worked.
Of the two receptionists... the 'English lady' was very helpful and chatty, the other receptionist - maltese I think, was quite dour.
All in all... hotel is in a good area, 5 mins from Bugibba bus station, good bars & restaurants nearby, hotel reasonable as a base without food and provided you make sure room is clean and properly serviced.

Mrs Taylor, 05 March 2014

The accommodation was as I expected for the price of the holiday. There were I think improvements the hotel could have made to make it better. The kitchen staff could have been more attentative for instance at meal times to ensure the food selections were kept replenished. The receptionists however were excellent Maria made sure we had everything we needed and gave us valuable advice on travel and destinations to visit

Mr Rose, 14 January 2014

it had no heating (in Dec) outside temperature was 15 degrees and it was colder inside than out, only thin sheets and very thin bed spread on the bed and took a while to get blankets when requested and they were as thin as the cotton sheets so not much warmth.
the food was put in front of us with no choices and no seconds if required.
there were 2 lifts but only one working and some times being used for furniture removing so we had to walk downstairs and as the 2 of us have hip and knee replacements it was uncomfortable.
lights in corridors turned off from early evening onward to save energy,(we were told)
