Egypt's desert climate makes it a popular year-round choice for sun seekers. Temperatures peak well above the thirties in summer and in the mid twenties in winter. There's hardly ever rain, but the temperature does tend to drop in the evenings. The best time to visit most sights, including the pyramids and the Valley of the Kings, is from February to April and October to November. During these months, the heat reminds you that it's the "Land of the Sun", but it's not too hot.
Things to see & do

Holidays in El Gouna centre around beachlife and the water sports on offer choices include snorkelling, deep sea fishing, paragliding, kite surfing and diving. Landbased sports include an 18hole golf course, tennis, beach volleyball, horseback riding and desert safaris. Visit El Gouna Museum to learn more about ancient Egyptian history and art. No trip to the Egypt is complete without a trip to the cities of Cairo, Aswan or Luxor.
