Large resort and perfect for families
We visited this hotel in October 2013, as a large family for a birthday celebration. The resort is huge with five pools and both daytime and nighttime entertainment. Rooms were fantastic; very clean and spacious. Staff always on hand to help us with anything too.

We booked an all-inclusive package. The food was served in two restaurants with plenty of choice on offer. However, the resort has a system of giving you an allocated time to eat your evening meal, which was a slight issue. This would have been fine usually, but having a dining time of 9pm when we had children with us was a problem. However, there was an Italian restaurant you could book that was also included in the all-inclusive deal, so this helped us a lot.

The hotel is about a 15 to 20-minute walk into Playa Blanca, so there's plenty to do outside the hotel too. All in all, a nice family place to stay.

The resort is perfect for families

Mrs Hewlett, 23 June 2016

Beautiful rooms and facilities throughout the resort, clean and attractive decor in all areas - reception is breathtaking as are views. Staff are well presented, professional and nothing too much trouble. Kids are well catered for with various clubs and activities. Good number of pools, bars and restaurants, excellent choice of food and drink. Will struggle to find anything this good!

Mrs Tully, 29 May 2016

Mrs Claydon, 07 April 2015

great fun family holiday. Perfect with kids. Great entertainment team. Lots of fun.

Miss Randall, 03 April 2015

Good hotel with large rooms for a family of 4. The room was cleaned daily. Also a lot of activities for children.

Mr Curry, 11 November 2014

Whilst the accommodation is good they let themselves down by having a regimented dining regime, with two sittings, either 6.30 or 8.30. You don't expect to get ejected from the dining room in a five star hotel to make way for the next sitting! House keeping was a bit slack as well.

What a fantastic holiday at the Dream Gran Castillo hotel. Couldn't fault at all, great location, views and food. Staff couldn't be more helpful from the cleaning staff to the management. Hotel animations team worked extremely hard to make sure you had a good time - but not pressured if you didn't want to partake. Our thanks to Tara @ Darlington branch who recommended this holiday resort to us as we had never visited Lanzarote before, but will certainly do so again.
