Valmorel was purpose built for ski holidays so it is maybe surprising to find it has a quaint, pedestrianised ‘village’ centre where many family orientated après ski holiday activities take place at the end of the day. A popular resort for families we have deemed it amongst our family top ten, it is the perfect environment to introduce your children to skiing or boarding. Equally ideal for keen skiers who enjoy relaxing in a cosy après-ski café or bar discussing the adventures of the day.

FAMILIES

Club "Piou Piou" Ski Kindergarten - occupying a prime site in the centre of the resort, offers kindergarten and crèche facilities that are second to none. The snow garden has two tow lifts and over 6 hectares of skiing area reserved for children enrolled in the club. The childrens chalet contains games room, changing room, baby gym, creative workshops and dining areas as well as a library and rest area. The Kindergarden caters for children aged between 3-5 years of age. Lunch is not included.

APRES SKI / NIGHTLIFE

A quaint village with a pedestrianised centre ideal for families. A great choice if you have children and want to spend time on the pistes and with the family. Informal and relaxed, centred around the cafés, bars and restaurants in the village. You can dance until late at “After” and Café de la Gare also has a DJ.
