Dominated by a twin-spired baroque church, St. Johann is a pretty market town ideally placed between several ski areas and close to Kitzbuhel. With 170kms of varied pistes in the ‘Schneewinkel’ area covered on a single lift pass, this resort is an ideal choice for skiers of virtually all levels, particularly those who prefer effortless red runs.

Beginners will find the proximity of the nursery slopes convenient and St. Johann’s friendly ski instructors will ensure your quick progress. More confident skiers and boarders are bound to enjoy the tree-lined slopes on the Steinplatte and in Fieberbrunn, reached by free ski bus. The compact and semi-pedestrianised centre of St. Johann has plenty of shops, cafés and bars in which to enjoy some apres ski.
