
Flaine is the gate to one of the biggest ski and snowboard areas in Ski Holidays in France, aptly named 'Le Grand Massif'. The 144 pistes are all connected, and Flaine is blessed with one of the best snow records in the French Alps. Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, prefer freeride, freestyle or carving, you’ll enjoy your favourite snowsport in a magnificent setting.
The Grand Massif ski area boasts a 265 kms of linked and prepared runs, connecting Flaine with the resorts of Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt Fer-à-Cheval. The natural snow record at Flaine allows to open over a long period of time and guarantees excellent ski conditions throughout the season. 218 cannons top up the snow cover on the fragile slopes ensuring the best possible snow conditions throughout the season.

Petits" Bouts" (tiny tots) ski school. Ski lessons + snack at Chalet bissac + medal at the end of the week. Tiny tots from age 3 or 4 can discover the joys of skiing in a series of 6 half-day lessons. First turns in a safe and enclosed snowgarden. Reservation recommended for school holiday periods.
Several restaurants near the bottom of the slopes are perfect places for après-ski. Just after your last run of the day, your evening starts without having left the slopes completely.
