Ski Holidays in Breckenridge

Breckenridge receives over 300 inches of snow a year and has over 2350 acres of terrain for skiers and snowboarders to discover, the ski resort is an authentic old-west town, with the charm of the gold mining era, combined with all of the modern amenities you need for the perfect ski break. The Village of Breckenridge has kept its charm over the years; there are no department stores only independent stores selling everything you need, there are a range of bars and restaurants to enjoy an evening in, and the off slopes activities will keep non-skiers entertained, with everything from spas to sports.

Who goes there?
With a total of 139 runs in Breckenridge there is no shortage of skiing or snowboarding, the runs are suitable for all beginners will find 20 runs suitable for their needs, 36 for intermediates and 83 advanced, snowboarders will be thrilled by the range of slopes and the 5 snow parks in Breckenridge.

Nightlife & Restaurants:
The Breckenridge nightlife is fun and offers a range of bars clubs and pubs to relax in, and if you prefer a livelier scene then you will also find somewhere to dance into the early hours, Breckenridge can cater for all of your needs. There are a variety of restaurants serving almost every cuisine you may wish to try so even the fussiest eaters will find somewhere suitable.

Skiing:
Beginners – will enjoy the gentle nursery slopes at the base of peak 8 or near to the Quicksilver, these runs will help gain confidence and move on to the easy green and blue runs.

Intermediates - Using the high speed Beaver Run chairlift, you will be negotiating Peak 9 in no time at all, and from there, the mountains open up for a tremendous skiing adventure across all 4 mountain peaks.

Advanced – Peaks 8, 9 and 10 cover an area of ten miles with moguls and double diamond black runs, and challenging runs such as Boneyard and Psychopath the serious skiers will be in their element.

Snowboarding:
Breckenridge offers one of the biggest snowboarding parks in the USA, the area has a number of snow parks and a half-pipe serviced by the first and only 400ft carpet lift in Colorado, if you prefer cruising then there is a wide variety of well groomed pistes.
