Bormio's 1792 meter vertical drop is one of three biggest in Italy what makes the resort more attractive to skiers preferring long runs from the top of the mountain back down to the resort. The longest run is almost 14 kilometres long and you will find many more of similar length. The routes are artificially snowed so that the skiing conditions are guaranteed at the top level. Large vertical drop should not threaten beginners as the runs are rather gentle. Advanced skiers will have a bit limited choice but still should be satisfied with off-piste skiing.

Winter Activities
Skiing is possible most time through year, since the Stelvio Park boasts a glacier and excellent conditions for preserving the high quality of snow.
