
Arinsal is a beautiful ski village in Andorra, set at an altitude of between 1550 and 2560 metres. In the winter, it offers excellent skiing and snowboarding for beginners, as well as a good selection of runs for intermediates. The fact that Arinsal is part of Vallnord means that Arcalis and Pal are included with the lift pass, offering a fantastic variety of runs, as well as some great places to cut off the pistes, if you need something a little more challenging.
Arinsal is a lively village offering some of the best-value skiing anywhere in Europe. Great hospitality, long sunny days and plenty of well-prepared confidence building runs make it an ideal destination for beginners and intermediates, whilst the radical ‘Freestyle Area’ caters well for snowboarders. Arinsal and Pal ski areas are linked and the lift pass now also covers the intermediate ski area of Arcalis, reached by ski bus. Nightlife in Arinsal is lively with a choice of bars and clubs operating well into the small hours at low duty-free prices. Families are also well catered for in Arinsal, with an excellent kindergarten and child lift pass offers. A high standard of English-speaking instructors ensures that many guests return year after year.

There is plenty of après action at the base of the gondola in Arinsal. The bars are crammed during the high season. Red X has videos taken on the slopes with hilarious falls and gales of laughter from crowd. Darby O’Gills is a local Irish pub. Rocky Mountain Bar, Quo Vadis, Surf Bar, Boro Calista and El Cau are legendary in the town’s après-ski lore.
