Alpbach is a pretty ski resort with a medium sized , mid-altitude ski area. The award winning village combined with the attractive local surroundings make Alpbach a popular resort. Alpbach offers good, if restrained night life and skiing to suit intermediate skiers.
Alpbach is located close to Innsbruck and the Inn valley and is part of the Kitzbuheler Alpen ski area, which includes amongst others, the ski resorts of Kitzbuhel, the Ski Welt (including Soll, Ellmau and Westendorf) and Niederau.
