For those looking for on land adventure quad biking in the desert is an unforgettable experience. You can also go desert trekking on camel, or if you prefer a quieter day out, there’s always the Sinai Heritage and Diving Museum in Naama Bay.
From Egyptian cuisine to McDonalds, Sharm el Sheikh has it all! There are plenty of local restaurants where you can enjoy traditional fare, but also an abundance of international restaurants to suit every taste.
Sharm el Sheikh has an endless choice of bars and clubs, catering for all needs. For the partygoers Naama Bay is a must, with nightclub, Pacha, being the most popular.
For an authentic Egyptian shopping experience, Sharm Old Market is not to be missed. Vibrant colours, spices, perfume bottles and slippers are all available. Naama Bay also has several western style shopping complexes.
The Egyptian pound is the local currency, however, Sterling is widely accepted throughout the resort.
The main language of Sharm el Sheikh is Arabic, however, English is widely spoken.
