Other points of interest include the Cactus Garden - home to more than 100 species of cactus, the volcanic crater of El Golfo with its striking green lagoon, and Los Hervideros with its series of caves and crashing waters.

Holidays in Lanzarote offer a wealth of shopping opportunities, from the large shopping districts of Calle Real in Arrecife to boutique shops in the main resorts, and the large bustling market of Teguise, which takes place every Sunday. Those seeking lively bars, discos and nightclubs can head to the resorts of Puerto Del Carmen and Costa Teguise. Alternatively Arrecife offers traditional Spanish nightlife.
