Playa Pesquero is known for its spectacular coral reefs teeming with marine life. Guardalavaca features a picture-perfect beach packed with powdery white sand and fringed with palm trees. Numerous local markets are held in Havana and along the coastline, where visitors can browse the art, jewellery, pottery and sculptures. The liveliest nightlife on the island can be found in Havana, with its vibrant salsa bars and pulsating nightclubs. Most of the beach resorts offer hotel-based entertainment with bars, live shows and discos.
