You can choose from staterooms and suites, with either a picture window or a private balcony from which to watch the world float by. You also get to enjoy special touches such as complimentary champagne and canapes, 24 hour room-service, an in-room minibar with wine and soft drinks, butler service, as well as exquisite decor and linens.

Ships in the luxury class are usually designed for fewer guests and more space. Despite their smaller size the ships do have many of the same facilities as larger vessels, like swimming pools, state of the art fitness facilities, spas and sun decks. They will often also offer extras such as guest lecturers and port talks to stimulate the mind as well as the body! Another benefit of cruising on these smaller ships is that they can call into the more exotic and exclusive ports that the larger mainstream ships can't get to.
