Unlike the other Spanish Costas, you wont find many Britishstyle pubs here. Youre far more likely to find yourself relaxing at a pavement cafe, or enjoying tapas under the stars. Many hotels on the Costa De La Luz lay on their own evening entertainment, but youll find a typically vibrant, Spanish atmosphere elsewhere, especially in Cadiz. Cadiz does have a number of late night clubs, but nothing on the scale of the more developed holiday resorts in other parts of Spain. In Isla Canela, the smart marina is lined with restaurants and lowkey, night time venues.
Many hotels in the Costa De La Luz have their own onsite restaurants, offering up local and international food. In the main beach resorts, youll find a good mix of eateries, many with outdoor terraces. For a true taste of Spain, cosy up in one of Cadizs tapas bars for some tapas, or enjoy freshly caught fish in one of the areas rural villages.
