Biarritz enjoys a mild and temperate climate throughout the year. Summers are hot and sunny with temperatures of up to 24C, while winter are mild with temperatures on average 10C with rain possible.
Things to see & do

Holidays in Biarritz are packed with things to see and do. Spend your days on one of the many beaches in and around the resort. Surfer's will be in heaven with the scale of the waves off the Bay of Biscay, especially along Boulevard du Prince de Galles. The BiarritzBidart International Training Centre is a mecca for golf fans, as are ten golf courses within a 15 mile radius. Biarritz hosts various surfing and golfing competitions throughout the season. Bike riding, rafting, sea kayaking and rugby are all available too. Enjoy some spa treatments at the impressive Thermes Marin. The children will adore the Musee de la Mer aquarium and a ride on the tourist train that circles the resort. St Martin's and the Russian Orthodox Churches, Chapelle Imperiale, Virgin on the Rock, Musee d'Art Oriental Asiatica and the Musee Historique de Biarritz are a must for culture enthusiasts.

Biarritz offers a lively nightlife scene. There are plenty of bars, clubs and pubs to enjoy, both in town and along the waterfront. Don't miss a night out at the La Copa nightclub. Try your luck and roll the dice at a casino.
