Mr Ford, 21 August 2015

The "off" butter was still at breakfast even after we complained to reception. The rooms were pokey, a toe stubbing 7" between bed end and Minibar. We request tea making facilities that were supposed to be available on request and never saw them.

Mr Woolner, 18 July 2015

The hotel room that we had was quite small only about one foot between the bottom of the bed and the external wall. Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was served from 07.00 a.m. No staff was on duty at the restaurant so it was completely self service so English breakfast was out of the question. One morning there had been a large crowd that had had breakfast early and left the breakfast area, top flaw, some open are and some enclosed. There was a very limited selection of food when we went to the dining area at 07.00 a.m (we were always the first ones there) . No staff was on duty and the tables in the open air area and the tables were covered by a variety of crows and seagulls feeding on remnants of food from the plates and in the covered area pigeons were also picking up left overs. Not an attractive sight.
The sight seeing tours organized by the hotel were good.
As the hotel is in the old part of the city the pavements are, generally speaking, in a very bad state of repair and we would not recommend using that part of the city for elderly people especially if they had problems walking.

Mrs Auchard, 29 May 2015

The staff and breakfasts were excellent; but the room was on the front of the hotel and the taxi rank across the street was noisy all night long and all nights we were there. Not worth repeating. Lloyd Auchard

We were quite bothered by the fact that after being advised that we would fly from the South Terminal at Gatwick we discovered, when we got there, that we had to run with our baggage for the North Terminal from which we were in fact programmed to fly! A bummer! We were advised by Turkish Airline staff that it had been some time since they had been flying out of South Terminal. Lloyd Auchard
